wallyWallace Piotrowski, MS, has been actively engaged as an independent real estate appraiser and president/owner of the Abbott Appraisal Agency, a registered NYS dba since February 1992. From March 1971 to November 1992 he was employed by the M & T Bank – Residential Mortgage Department, Buffalo, New York and served in management capacity as a Banking Officer and Senior Residential Real Estate Appraiser, and a department manager with authority to supervise the department, as well as performing residential, commercial, farms, rural, recreational, and vacant land properties in eight counties of the Western New York Region.

Other real estate experience includes real estate property management, property marketing and sales (ORE of the bank), RELO management, mortgage lending, mortgage underwriting and credit approval, mortgage closings, management of new construction mortgage lending, construction loans inspections and construction loan funds disbursement authorization.

He also served as Hearing Officer for Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR), for State of New York United Court System – Eight Judicial District, from 2001 to 2009.

AREA OF SERVICE:  My area of appraisal service includes the Western New York Region including the counties of: Primary Area: is the Buffalo-Niagara Metropolitan Region with Erie and Niagara Counties; and Secondary Area of:  Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming Counties.  I also perform appraisals in Tertiary Area of the Rochester, NY Metropolitan Area including the Monroe, Livingston, Ontario and Wayne Counties.
